True. But it doesn't change the fact that we are proud to be from Salford and support our team (s) through thick & Thin.
Got a nice suntan, met lots of lovely Spanish ladies and had a good night out in Wigan with the Rugby fans. (They can drink) So i have really enjoyed myself and things can only get better.
Plus Salford fans OUTSANG the Wigan fans at home... AGAIN ! Just like United do every time we WIN at the JJB.

Maybe you did last night but normally we can't here a peep but then it isn't suprising because it's always going to be a struggle for 27 people to outsing 12,000( even if they're just chatting with their mates).
As for United it's not much to crow about beating Latics...................now if they could beat a good side like Barelona  |

It's yet more juvenile revisionism. But it's typical of 'little club' syndrome.
It's like: "There might have been hardly any of us, but we outsang you." Or "We might have lost, but we had a better time than you." Or "We might have some of your rejects in our team, but they're playing better for us than they did for you because they like us more". Or "We might be a small club, but everything your club does is cheap and underhand, while we are always open and honest". Or "We are basically better people than you."
Salford fans are past masters at this sort of thing. It's all complete nonsense, but it sweetens the bitter pill that once again they've been firmly put in their place. |

Agreed.
We were only saying the same last night when the chant of ' your not famous anymore ' started.
Same at Wire last week..... but at least we were famous, unlike them.

8000 home fans for a cup quarter final. Looks like the football has finally taken over in Wigan.

No other superleague side would have had a crowd as big against Salford.
Leeds got 10k on last year against Wigan in the CC with at least 2,000 fans from Wigan.
