Would you genuinally stop supporting Wigan Rugby League we they signed Long?

I'm not quite sure why everyone would get their knickers in a twist regarding Long. Admitedly he's past his best but what's he done to Wigan that makes people so against him signing for us?

I'd love him to go to wigan, it would be comedy

He did attack Terry Newtons elbow with his face a few seasons back which in alot of peoples books is unforgivable!

I find it rather funny that a few people on here have stated they would not watch us again if we signed Long. All hes done is make Saints the best he could. Hes never bad mouthed the club or fans.

To be honest is he as much of a judas as a player accepting money from the RFU and leaving a sinking ship.

Genuinely think he'd be good for you lot for a couple of years. Knows how to steer a team around the pitch (which Wigan criminally lack at times) and has a bit of x-factor.

We'll see I suppose, but he would be one of the few players to leave Saints for Wigan who would get nothing but warm applause from me and I expect most Saints fans would be the same.
