Desperately poor today - it was embarrassing the apparent lack of effort and ideas at times - a complete contrast to Barrow who clearly wanted the win more and would have deserved it in all honesty considering the enthusiasm shown. Some of their players really put themselves in the shop window and it was only for a slight lack of composure / discipline / fitness in other areas of the team that they ultimately came up short. For 60 minutes it was extremely difficult to tell which was the SL club and which was the Championship club. Credit to Barrow, but disappointing from Wigan.

Barrow were made to look far too dangerous in attack by poor defence today and as a result I'm not looking forward to Thursday at all.

I'm sure Ainscough scored four and Carmont just got the one. I know it's reported on the official website as Carmont twice but, I'm sure Ainscough got four. Three in the first half and one in the second. It was a one on one steal by Hansen and Ainscough touched it down. I was right at the front of the stand.
