A great kicking game and top class passing too

Smith has a wand of a left foot. His weight of kick is unbelievable, with him pinning Huddersfield in their in goal on a few occasions. Was it him who got the 40/20 also? We missed who it was at the game. If we can keep getting a good share of these forward battles, the likes of Hastings, French and Smith will take us a good way.

Powell 40/20 I think
Smith was really good
Hastings was fantastic
Farrell usual fantastic
Burgess was brilliant for his 40mins or so
Marahall, fantastic start to finish and people will talk about his try before half time for the next 30/40 years.

Very good summary
Marshalll’s try was pure class. One of the best in many a year
Powell’s 40:20 was top drawer too
Very pleasing performance

He was and it’s probably no coincidence that we’ve looked a better side these past two weeks with him back in. There wasn’t really a bad performance today.

He'd be my skipper for 2021. Absolutely key to the side, but goes under the radar.

Goes under the radar only by those who seem to have an agenda against him. Never understood the criticism of him .

Fully agree. I think some supporters expect him to be a 'James Roby' style hooker, which he isn't. But he's always gives solid performances, his effort and defence is always first class.
I think he's been playing better rugby under Lam than Wane, his ball distribution has improved and his go forward has increased.
Future captain potential.

I don’t think you could ever criticise Powell for his commitment.
His ability has also never been in doubt.
He for me is the one player that has benefitted most by the coaching change.
He was very one dimensional under Wane now under Lam I think he has been given much more freedom to play the game and show his full range of skills.
As I understand it he has been regarded as the captain elect for a few years now and rightfully so.

You will love the Marshall try just before half-time
The kicking game from Smith was spot on and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him start next week
One of those games where it is hard to criticise anyone but we await far stronger tests than a one dimensional Huddersfield
