I'd would have to see the gouging frame by frame to make my mind up whether it was or wasn't. That said Ablett had his fingers bent towards FPN's face, most instances of roughing up in the face are done with an open hand, it was certainly in the area of the eyes. That coupled with FPN's reaction and that he was simulating an eye gouge when the ref was talking to him does suggest there was something in it.

it was tongue in cheek i thought the tone of it was obvious. yes we all have bias, but the faux outrage about this incident is way over the top. after all your captain knocked someone out stone cold last year, ending the players season, then he got off got a ban over turned and had the Rfl appoligise to him for having the ordasity to send him off.
