| Quote: Burtons Forearm "Missed Farrell kissing Cockayne this game..........kissed Mickey Mouse instead.....karma.
Him and Smith acted like bell ends in the last game maybe Wane knew some of his young players were getting ahead of themselves and seniors like Smith he couldn't rely on so he made his comments to get them to focus.
Unfortunately your fans were planning for the next round too.
If only ´lockers´ had turned up you might have won.........but your out. Next year hopefully.
That's 2-1 us this year.
Boudebza has outplayed Mickey Mouse twice this year.
Anyway can concentrate on the league now.'"
Its 2-1 this year .... so far.
What about the top 8 fixtures ..... surely your a certainty for the top 8?
It'll be just like a world club challenge fixture for us - a team largely produced by the Wigan club against a team largely comprising of Aussie's.

| For a neutral, it was a fascinating dynamic.
Two weeks ago, it seemed like Hull KR went onto the pitch knowing they were in for a hammering due to injuries and withdrawals, so went out there with a "this is going to hurt - hide" mentality.
Last night, it seemed like Wigan knew Hull KR would be a much different proposition and almost seemed fearful of what response they would get from two weeks ago, as if the uncertainty about the opposition got into their heads.
If the game two weeks ago had been a close-fought battle, I can't help feeling Wigan would have walked it, because they would have known there was a battle and gone out there with a local derby mentality.
Just a neutral perspective.

| I was laughing last week at the saints and Leeds boards going in to, sack the coach meltdown after a couple of losses. Now it's the same on here. Some of the nonsense about, "they were more up for it," is embarrassing. It took at least 12 minutes and a penalty before they got over their own 40m line. I would love to see the stats. I imagine the Wigan's yardage would be far more than KRs.
Both teams made a lot of errors, wigan the most, with some shocking passes and knock ons. But with fifteen to go Wigan deserved to be two points up. Then right under their posts Silverwood, in mine and the commentators view, gave KR a scrum when it should probably (not 100%) have been a penalty to Wigan. 30 metres down field the ball (seems) to squirt out. (never got a clear view on that). Penalty KR. On the last tackle of the drive KR step on the touch line before releasing the ball but it is missed and they get the kick away. Even after all that Wigan still get the chance to clear the danger with an unchallenged catch in goal. We all know what happened next and that was a series of very dumb plays by Wigan which gifted a try to KR. As I said not seen the stats but it seemed to me that the Wigan pack was the dominant one in terms of yards made and aggressive defence. Wigan also looked potentially the more likely to score, the difference came down to a couple of poor decisions and handling errors. That can happen on a wet night. As for critics of McIllorum. Please grow up he was certainly one of the better players out there. And the thug comment is just ridiculous. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't remember him giving a penalty away last night.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| Logan Tompkins, along with Lewis Tierney, Rhodri Lloyd, and Jake Shorrocks are in the Workington 19 man squad at Doncaster tomorrow. Also in the 19 is Jamie Doran who has been on loan up there for a couple of months.

5 Aussies. Hardly illegal is it (unless UKIP get in obviously)?

I think they're mostly OK with Aussies. Dunno about Sam Thaiday, though.

You missed that it was a full strength Wigan vs a KR team with 6 first team members out (plus a couple of back ups) then that tells you why Wigan should have had the lions share of the possession and should have had the better attempts.
Would love to know why home advantage makes such a difference. With Us, Wigan, Cas and Widnes (and more understandably Cats) all with excellent home records and shocking away records, should it make such a difference.

| Not quite full strength. Flower, Gelling and Clubb would all make the 17, and probably Manfredi would in front of Charnley, though this last one probably doesn't make much difference. Still, we should have had just enough to prevail IMO. I was expecting a real close encounter and a Wigan win but hats off to HKR.

| Liam Farrell..... Nasty...
Speaking on the injury to Farrell, Wane said: "He's got four breaks to his nose and slight damage to his cheekbone so he'll be a few weeks I think.
