I don't mean figuratively either...I mean I actually cringed! Thankfully it seems that Saints fans are equally embarrassed by it. Could you not sort him out with a girlfriend or something? Please? Haha Mugwump is acting like an absolute clown lately mate. I think he has had some sort of breakdown recently because his posts over the last month or so have been ridiculous. Either that or he's like Rogues and just loves the attention of provocative posts.

And I accept that it's since his return to playing, but unlike you I'm not jumping, or seemingly jumping, to the conclusion, or insinuating, or seemingly insinuating, that this is Flower's fault. It may be, it may partly be, it may have nothing to do with Flower and be a long standing underlying condition, We/You/I/They don't and won't know until further tests are done.


Where did I defend him?

I've not made a silly staement. If you care to read what I put I've stated you have as much knowledge of the cause/issue here as Cyberpieman. That knowledge is zero.

And just for the record, I never implied it was anything other - just trying to point to the idiocy of those who (as someone else has pointed out) put 2 & 2 together and got 5 (or in some cases 50).

Passions seem to running a bit high, especially given the current situation, which to summarise is, Saints player retires citing concussion as the reason. As far as I can see in what I have read, he has NOT pointed the finger at any incident or anyone as the cause. Some in the media have linked the GF incident at the end of their reports on Hohaia retirement and its attribution to concussion injury. Some fans of the two clubs involved in last years GF seem to have taking to trading insults and accusations ref the incident at the GF. Take a step back and draw a breath before committing to these threads, stuff you might regret. For mine it is a shame that Hohaia has had to stop playing, I also think he has acquitted himself well in his comments about the incident at the GF. Also for mine and whilst in no way condoning the actions of Flower at the GF, the incident has been dealt with and he has served his suspension.

Are you mad? An outbreak of reasonableness? This would take a love-in on the scale of The Devils - and I've not had me jabs.

At the moment, nobody knows the full facts. It might be that Hohia was suffering symptoms though last year. It might be that his symptoms are a result of a new injury suffered this year. It might be his symptoms are a result of the injury sustained in the grand final.
If the latter is the case it will be for Hohia to take the legal steps he is entitled to follow. His decision will be based on medical evidence, of which nobody here has enough knowledge of to comment.
I have a feeling it will end up in court.

And it might not. Yet though they don't say it directly the journos deliberately imply it was. What your foot has got to do with it I don't know because as you basically went to to argue with yourself we don't know one way or the other.

Those who are saying "he was OK before Flower hit him and now he isn't so it must be Flower who did it" are not applying logic even if they thin they are. (Yes Allez I mean you).

Surely wigans public liability would cover it anyway in the event of any legal action?
