Not gloating but the biggest myths in RL are Joel Tomkins and Bateman. both non existent tonight yet again.

With all due respect mate, you're talking rubbish. If you're going to use ONE game to justify your comments, at least make it one where it wasn't 12 v13 and preferably not one half a dozen games back into Tomkins return. Why not try the 2011 Challenge cup final for Tomkins perhaps and maybe the whole of last season for Bateman when he virtually carried the Bradford pack single handedly and won young player of the year. In fact take practically any game for us this season too. I'd start with Good Friday where he consistently ripped you a new one playing out of position!

There is no "evidence". You can't seriously suggest a coach saying his team should "create mayhem" and "bash the hell out of the opposition" has anything to do with a player over-reacting to getting an elbow in the face.

The only game plan I saw was one from Brown of winding the Wigan players up from the off. It worked. Flower reacted and I am sure Hohaia has got a pat on the back for taking one for the team, as I said before.

Check the "Flower" thread for the video evidence. In addition to "create mayhem" and "bash the hell out of the opposition" there is "knock people out" (said whilst punching his own hand to demonstrate) and "be reckless".

I don't think Wane wanted it to be so obvious, but his message is very clear and has been seen through his players all year.

Shaun Wane has to take some responsibility for all week trying to build it up into a 'hatred' game.

Yes we know he intensely dislikes us but broadcasting it to all and sundry before every derby and the GF did our sport and his team no favours.

You can't have it both ways DaveO. Saying that there are no tactics involved from a Wigan point of view and Wane has nothing to do with it and then say that Brown had a game plan of winding the Wigan players up - your "evidence" argument goes both ways.

Hohaia tried to escort Flower off the ball, he got a shove in back, retaliated, then got knocked out & his nose broke, does that shove from each player deserve what Flower did? He is a big house! Hitting a halfback, I would have liked to see him try doing that to any players his own size, you deserved to lose the GF, it's a team sport & one of the team let the others down, win as a team lose as a team.

What Wigan must now realise is that the vast majority of opposition fans dislike the way you play the game and have done for number of years. Winning a trophy only means something when the opposition accepts that you've won it on merit ... unlike last year's GF.

So are we supposed to conform to a panel of opposition fans views? our 12 men played better than the stains 13 men, how does that fit into your agenda?
