I've come to the conclusion that RL fans are the moaningest fans in the world! (I know that's not a real word - but it suits). We get to watch the worlds greatest game for a fraction of what football fans have to pay.

Reminds me of the bloke whose wife took him to Las Vegas for their anniversary. He gambled all night and won on the roulette wheel, then they went to a show and saw Shirley Bassey followed by Bob Hope and then Frank Sinatra topped the bill. When he got home his mate asked him what it was like to which he replied "I suppose it is alright for them as likes fun"

In fact, you could argue that watching it on TV helps to ensure that the Sky monies keep rolling in.. So, maybe we would be better all getting Sky Sport and staying home to watch.

I think Sky would lose interest if there are many more like last night's game or the one at Huddersfield last week. The one at Leeds looked shocking with the terrace absolutely empty. (By the way every time I stand on that terrace there are loads of Leeds fans mixing it with the 'I always stand here' routine. Where did they get to?). Let's hope next season the crowds start to come back. Whilst I agree with most people that the standard has dropped - it's still great value for money.

You can tell that Eddie and Stevo and the rest are [idesperate[/i for a close game tonight watched by a large crowd. I think they may be disappointed - possibly on both counts.
