Absolutely.
Faz has stepped up several notches this season for sure and his stats are freakishly good but of the two I am certain HH hits harder and is equally a defensive machine himself.
What I am enjoying about Faz's play this season though more than the defense is his running on attack. He did it again today and it was him who's diagonal run along the centre slot ultimately set up a Richards try.

| The defence stat was always wrong according to the Wigan RLFC in house statisticians which says a lot for the quality of OPTA. He did miss one today but still played superbly.

| Thought he dropped off at least one tackle yesterday. Still had a very good game, not as eye catching as normal but did the tough yards, couple of clean breaks and the miss pass to Richards was sublime.
His skill set and vision is superb.
In my opinion best player in Super League at the moment.

It should be. I've said on the Saints site that if the Man of Steel was voted for now he would be a shoe in.

| He's certainly been superleagues best player to date but it is a long season. He'll be in and around the dream team for sure though.
The lad is just a natural rugby player. He puts himself in the right place over and over again and just doesn't have bad games. Until recently he was the first young forward in a few years that I'd seen come in to our team and straight away make me think 'future international'.
I say until recently because Greg Burke has it written all over him IMO. He plays (and looks) like a 200 game pro.

If there is a Wigan player for MoS this year then for me it has to be Lockers. Faz is playing great but IMO it is Lockers who is not only doing that but also holding the team together in the face if a lot of injuries. He played minus about three ribs v Saints.
