At the risk of getting this thread back on track, a few interesting facts for you:

In direct comparison with both Hoffman and Hansen, based on game time last season, Hock:
- made more metres per carry
- made more tackle busts
- made more offloads
- made more try assists
- made less errors
- missed less tackles per attempt

He also gave away less penalties than Hoffman.

There may be no smoke without fire but the amount of smoke doesn't always correspond with the size of the fire!

I can see both sides of the fence, but that's the whole point of Hock. He gives you that extra spark, but with that comes the possibility that sometimes he'll go too far.

Look at Morley, one of the best props of his generation, enforcer type prop, puts in the big hits, and as good as he is, even he has had times where he has gone too far and seriously hurt his team.

You could probably put up with that, but Hock then has the braindead moments (like getting a 2 year ban, or grabbing a ref) but he's still a good player, and the sort of player that we'll need to perform this season if we are to stay near the top.

I'd rather have Hock playing for us than against us.
