I dont understand the criticism of Sinfield by people, I am an ardent wigan fan but can appreciate the many talents of a player from another club. Sinfield throughout his long and dedicated service to the Leeds club has always been a complete R. L. player and this years G.F. was no exception, his speech at the end I thought was just right. He has even made the editorial column of the Guardian in praise of him, I have read the Guardian for more than half a century and that has never happen before so he must be doing something right. I've only listend back to it once but, I'm sure McGuire was telling Bentham to stop the game as Shenton appeared to have a serious injury, don't think he was moaning about it being stopped, but the opposite.

If anyone has watched the replay then it looks like a shocking injury. Broken Arm/Dislocated Elbow, anyone could have seen that the way he went down.

Why McGuire wasn't watching the replay is beyond me.

You appear to have forgotten some of Wigans players reactions to McGuire's injury last year, regardless of the situtation. What you will also find is that Danny was trying to stop play to help Shenton, not having a "hissy fit" as you appear to recall.
