Is Westermann injured or could you add him to the list?

As much as we missed someone of his ilk, I just think it would have benefited no-one had Deacon gone. He's a cover player these days, and would have had nothing after this series at all to play for.

If we wanted a Deacon-esque player, then Danny Brough should have gone. Best of the rest unfortunately.

Not injured I dont think, just not good enough at this stage of his career. Glad he's gone to a bigger club though, can only benefit him + England long term.

Presuming you mean Paul Wood I fully agree and also with Gleeson and Andy Coley. I think Coley is a really interesting one tbh. I think he would really thrive in the international set up especially now he seems to have matured into a leader. The only worry as always with Coley is the amount of errors he makes.

Coley was the man of the match in the Grand Final by a margin in my opinion - probably should have gone to Australia.

He has been outstanding all season IMO. He seemed to do so much game time in the GF though, he was brilliant.

Rumours we're after Joel Monaghan - we could always do with a bit of extra mongrel in the backs.
