Was our squad only 11 players? Do you actually have the full list with numbers to hand?

You had a squad of 12 and the young chaps Iain Thornley and Ryan King impressed me to no end.

But it was Shaun Ainscough who stole the show and maybe will be a loss to you, now that it's looking nailed on he'll join us.

great day over all . was knackered when i got home . I realy did not think we would progress to the final. we played last years winners (Hull Fc and jamaica ( full of hussein bolts ) . warrington in the semi and then a full strength bradford side in the final. Ainy did play well although thornley got better as the night went on, Ryan king played all evening suffering from whiplash caused by a car accident late last week. He was unable to compete in the sprint race , although after seeing the try he scored against bradford , he would no doubt have been up there with the leaders had he been fit. Howarth tackled well all night , I think it was matty russell who was a thorn in the opositions side with his darting runs as well. over all great day/ night .

IIRC - Hanley burst through half the length of the pitch and with 20 metres to the line started to slow down and act the goat with the ball goading the opposition, a covering defender on his blind side caught up with him and hung on, now we still scored but can't remember if Hanley had to throw the ball out to one of our players or he managed to wriggle over the line.

Anyway I remember it spared his blushes as he looked decidely embarrassed about it. I'm sure it was the same night as it was on TV afterwards like you say!!
