Refs just need to learn the rules properly (alibert)'"
alibert is bad for offsides he never seems to blow so least he is consistent

surely should be brought in here'"
It's debatable whether we have enough refs of good enough quality to have 1 at each game. There certainly aren't enough to have two. We would just end up with even less consistent decisions than happen now.

Agree with you up to this point, but how can you compete for the ball with your arms by your side and looking in the wrong direction?

He was talking about the Alibert decision 1st half (not the Farrell sin binning) when we challenged Smith in the air and it should have been back to 1.
Crusaders 5 mins watching the game expert says it should have been penalty to Leeds as you can't "TOUCH" a player when going for the Ball!
Our guys just pointing out that you can touch him, you just can't tackle him as long as your making a genuine effort to catch the ball which I believe our players did?

So why didn't the VR give a penalty then?
He gave play on "Handover" meaning he thought a Wigan player must have touched it for it to be play on.
IMO and in about 99% of peoples opinions so far they think SMith touched it, Bad decision, end of, Nowt to get too worked up over.
Your comment earlier though was that "You can't touch a player when going for the Ball". Your wrong, you can Touch a player, You can't touch him if you aren't challenging, every Wigan player was.

| From a Leeds fan's point of view it was a terrible call by the video referee, it should have been play on and another set for Wigan.
Just to prove it was no fluke though, the same official awarded a Bradford try yesterday after a clear knock on. Worryingly the TV coverage claimed he saw the touch (by Menzies) but it went backwards.
Referees (like most humans make mistakes) and that's to be expected. Video referees should not however, especially in such clear-cut situations.
