sheffield could be saturday looking at rotherham gates of 3000. would not caused a problem plus don valley is almost half way from sheffield to rotherham but i doubt the centre of sheffield sees rotherham fans on their match days hoping for saturday assuming it will be at bramhall lane

I'd love to go as I can see Bramall Lane from work, but I'll be in the US for a conference. Sheffield has changed quite a bit since Wigan were last here, it's a great day out for everyone, big wheel like Manchester, loads of bars / pubs, train station is only 5 minutes from Bramall Lane as well.

Gutted I can't be there, a long weekend in San Diego at a conference instead, I hope I can find the game on the net!

IIRC There was snow on the roads / pavements and the pitch had to be cleared prior to the game. With 10 minutes to go and Wigan 8-4 up Edwards made a break and the line was begging, had he dove he probably would have made the line but he chose to take the tackle, it ultimately cost us the game.

Sheffield are looking to play the game at Bramall Lane if they can. Either way the match won't go ahead on Sunday due to the Wednesday v United derby, which is excellent news as I'm at the Latics v Arsenal game that day.

coldest ive ever been was at Cas in milwards last season when we got battered and the crowds on the buses were waiting for the players to come to the team coach so we could give em some stick. Millward was hiding behind a rubbish skip and wouldnt come out until the speccy coaches had gone.
