| After 20 odd years of being a season ticket holder, I was considering whether or not to renew next year ( I probably would have). As others have said lack of passion and boring rugby have turned me off big time this year.
However Waneys has just got an increase in season ticket sales for next year to cover his wage in one interview!
The missus is thinking of coming next year now as well!
Dont you just love the passion of the guy.

There's always a downside to everything isn't there ?

| Only just seen the video, and was similarly inspired by what Shaun said. Some on here think that there isn't a problem with the culture at the club, but at best we only see 80 mins of play a week & have to judge from that. Shaun's inside the club so is in a far better position to judge.
Let's be honest, he could have come on & trotted out nice safe quotes about building on solid foundations, club doing well just needs a few extra touches etc. etc. - but instead he chose to talk about a change of culture, playing well alone not being good enough, and getting a winning mentality in answer to the 1st question. He must think it's key to us getting anywhere.
I just thought it was great to hear someone talk about Wigan with the sort of passion you used to see in the club, and I for one already feel much more positive about the future than I have for many years.
Now, I'm not expecting miracles from day 1, but I am at least expecting to see fitter players, more passion, and more exciting rugby. Well done Shaun lad!

Now there was a night! Thing is, I honestly feel we can get that kind of atmosphere around the club again (even at the JJB) - you only have to look at the size of the crowds we've been getting despite the, at times, godawful rugby on show. However you can only maintain passion in the stands if it's reflected on the pitch, and I feel that some matches have been total non-events in recent times.
It seems fairly clear that provided MM has the same attitude as SW, that won't be tolerated anymore.

| I didn't renew my season ticket this year, partly because I missed some games the previous season, and partly because I took the view if the players can't be bothered to turn up , why the **** should I?
I don't think the players will dare not turning up in future otherwise Shaun Wane will be ripping them a new **sehole. He & Maguire will have no qualms about shipping out big names into the reserves I'm sure, if they are underperforming .
The "old boys, play every week, mines the first name on the team sheet" culture is over now.
It will be interesting to see what "you're not good enough to play in the first team" has on some of our underperforming, overpaid passionless mercenaries. Perhaps it will persuade them to either improve or **** off to another club where mediocrity is accepted - it certainly won't be accepted at Wigan next season.
I can't wait for next season now, and will be renewing my season ticket this time round

| The thing that Shaun said on Radio Manchester tonight that sticks in my mind the most was when he was talking about Ben Davies and listed his good points but then said "He just needs a bit more dog in him".
Here's to seeing some much needed aggression from our pack from now on.

| Very excited for the 2010 campaign, the way Shaun Wane spoke was brilliant. I have for the past few years been feeling flat supporting Wigan, but now i can't wait for the new campaign.
Bring on 2010

| CRUNCHER, we didnt altogether see eye to eye on here the other day . mainly because I was a Noble fan, but I want to congratulate you on your reply to Cam, explaining to him what The Wigan Culture really means. Isee now that you seem to be as passionate about Wigan as S Wane is.
