No I dont, but all things being equal im right, Fielden bottled a big hit after Morley had drilled him a few moments before.

| Quote: Ed I Tackle "Explain to me how you know that the call wasn't take it up Fielden, Tomkins comes in on your shoulder.
How do you know that Fielden didn't get a call from Tomkins 'my ball Stuart' and Fielden responded.'"
In a planned move with a player like Sam on the shoulder of a prop the prop would need to draw a tackle from each (or most) of the crowd of defenders he was running into and would offload to the supporting man who could then go into the gap that was created.
Fielden stopped before meeting one man, turned and threw it to a lad who weighs a lot less than him knowing that the smaller player had to hit a group of three defenders.
If Sam called for a pass Fielden should be experienced enough to know that he needs to create a gap to give Sam any chance of breaking the line in this situation.
If that was an example from Wigan's book of set moves then we desperately need a new play book.

If Sam called the ball when there was no move on then it his him that is at fault not Fielden for giving it, he doesn't know what Sam has seen, he responds to Sams knowledge and experience, which if your scenario is correct isn't enouogh for this type of game. Maybe therefore Tomkins shouldn't have been on the field.

Now it becomes clear what you are up to. Nice try.

Correct, this is no trolling, my Wigan credentials are as good as anyones.
Its easy to blast a player, however if you don't know the full story you could be way off the mark.

There isn't a 'full story', Sam could have been Tommy, Pat or Piggy it just happened you used an example where Sam the most inexperienced player ws involved.
Supporters get too wound up on individuals, its a team game and sometimes the team as a whole under performs, sometimes individuals do under perform but when that happens if the team plays well they can carry him. However one thing you are never sure of standing (sitting these days) on the terraces is what the players are told to do and trying to do and who calls what,
