Morley/Peacock/Graham aren't the top SL props because people are frightened of them, they're the top SL props because they work hard and take their team forward.
That's the sort of prop Wigan need IMO, not a Webb.'"

I agree actually.
But its very clear to me we need two props of two different kinds. One enforcer and one of the type you describe to replace the man who was supposed to be doing that job - Stuart Fielden.

| I don't know why any SL club continues to be linked with Webb - he won't get a work permit.

Where in my post do I mention our pack being dominant.
I just said that Fielden is a work horse not that he is any good. In a better back we would get alot more out of him.
I am agreeing with you in the sort of prop we need, but we already have a work horse we need an enforcer.
For the red vee dude, seriously you take my post way too literally.

Luke Burgess - possible enforcer of the future
Nathan Cayless - work horse in every area.
would be prefect, Carl Webb, yes but should imagine he'd be offered a higher wage then the other two. If

Do you know the difference between a work horse and an enforcer? Please explain.

I will if thats ok?
A workhorse works his butt off making steady meters constantly and gets through a shed load of defence.
An enforcer has an intimadating air around him. likes to put in massive shots and is adept at punching peoples heads in. they command respect from opponents for there toughness and aggresion.
we have two workers already, Fielden gets through a massive amount of work and Prescott / O'Carroll. We also have a line buster in Feka.
What we lack is more players who show the aggression of Hock. someone who will go out there way to get in the mixer with the opposition.
Add into the bargin that an enforcer likes to deck people now and again just to send a message out!!!
We aint had that since Seu Seu left.

When did you last see Carl Webb play? Bad signing written all over it.

Nathan Cayless would be a good solid prop. Is he off contract?

But there is more to an 'enforcer prop' that someone who puts in the hits and has aggression.
It can be someone who leads by example, who makes the hard yards and tackles all up all game long. Their presence of that of dominance. They have aggression but also lead by example creating a presence. A lot of 'work horse' props 'enforce' themselves onto the game. I.e Luke Bailey.
Fielden used to have an ore around him, similar to Morley, but now he's a spent force. Webb could only be used as another impact prop, you want your enforcer on the field for around 50-60mins.
Morley would be ideal.

Looked a little 'tired' recently... but has presence to be a solid SL prop.

| IMO, we have no enforcer and no guaranteed metre-maker. Yes, Fielden does a lot of tackling, but he's in the middle of the park so you expect this. When's the last time he made more than 10 metres? Feka can make yards when he comes on, but this time on the pitch is limited and he can struggle when we're under the cosh.

You'd hope that, if they do sign Webb, they'd have thoroughly investigated this issue first. One thing we can't possibly put up with is signinng a decent player, firing all the guns to announce it, and then waiting nervously on a decision from the High Commission.
That made a couple of clubs look very foolish last year.

No but Parramatta are hoping a dumb Super League club make him an attractive offer that he can't refuse and they will release him.
