Well A he deserves it B Wigan should of known it when they signed Gleeson and C we shouldnt be prevented from playing young british players. If it is the reason it is a disgrace

I think its really unfair on SA and shows that BN didnt have much faith in his ability to break the first team and have such an impact but as good as many knew he was not many expected him to tear it up so much, BN also said S.Tomkins would only get 10 games this season i wonder if his deal is similar and they are obvioulsy going to have to bump up his wage.

Quote: SiY "There must be a reason Nobby is keeping Ainscough out. Ok maybe a little stint out the first team side to keep him fresh, but if Shaun doesn't feature again in this season it will be an outrage.'"

I have heard that its due to Seans contract, once he make a certain amount of 1st team games then his wage increases. This wouldve been fine if it where not for the signing of a Mr gleeson which by all accounts has taken us to the limit of the salary cap.

As a result noble is probably saving sean for when injurys hit the squad.

could be wrong but thats what i heard

Hmm, then maybe Noble is waiting for the right time to use him. It's a shame, i wouldn't think it would go up soo much.

We have to go with Noble on this.

The decision is his.

Personally I might have gone with Ainscough, but tbh his defence needs improving (it's no good scoring 4 and letting 3 in).

He has time on his side though. Fix his defence (and work out a strat vs the high cross kick) and he could be an all time great. I rate him that highly.

Stop being childish. He hasn't said that at all, and you know he hasn't.

There's no need to get hot under the collar just because someone disagrees with you. Not everyone on here likes this decision by Noble, but others have given perfectly valid reasons why they're prepared to trust him on this one.

Noble's job is far from being safe. He's selecting sides that he thinks will win matches for us. He can't afford to be vindictive.

Please not Riddell though, he obviously isnt fit, he should be given time to recover and get match fit again, not risking him in a cup match!

Don't forget that he's masterminded some of our biggest defeats against Saints...and I've still not recovered from the semi final defeat against Catalans. I've still not got over the video ref's decision of disallowing Richard's try in the right hand corner at Wakefield.
One good thing that sticks in my mind as unbelievable, like the above two, was Joe Lydon's drop goal from 65 yards.

Quote: Madderzahatter "Noble can't seem to do anything right. I was as disappointed as anyone not to see SA in the team for Saints, but i hold my hands up. It was the right decision. As for Wakefield, we all know that Kear is a decent tactician and i'd hate to see SA get murdered by Wakey's kicking game. Seeing that it's a cup game I'm not surprised Noble has decided to leave him out.'"

You are either Eddie Hemmings or Brian Noble and I claim my £10.00!!!

How can you possibly say Noble's selection was vindicated just because we won? Not playing ainscough didn't make the difference, the team playing for once did!! Ainny would have scored both of the tries paddy did, so the only difference would have been would pat have kicked 7 from 7 playing full back?!?! Oooohhhhh, somehow i think he might not have you know!! icon_rolleyes.gif icon_lol.gif :lol

Thus, Ainny being dropped had no bearing, who says he wouldnt have scored 4 had he played and we'da put 50 on saints

Quote: NickyKiss "Surely that can't happen the way that the triangle of Smith, Leuluai and Sam are playing and rotating along with a starting hooker.

It wouldn't suprise me though as i'm not sure if Noble will have the nuts to tell Riddell he'll have to wait his chance for a place.'"

Will he heckers like..........Aussie Favourates will keep their place over young talent. Riddell for me shouldnt make the 17 in the form he's shown this season...he bearly does as many minutes as feka FFS and has little or no impact!! I would bet £100 though that one of Mcillurum or Sam Tompkins will miss out on sat!! This is Mr NoBalls we are talking about!!
