IL is the source of the problems here. NOT BN.'"
Valid questions that the anti noble mob will dismiss instantly as not an issue.
But to my mind IL does have some things to answer for and his honeymoon period is well and truely over.

| Quote: RescuedBlue "How would you feel about Tony Smith?
Turned Leeds into League Champions in his first season, something many bigger names had not achieved in 32 years
Went on to claim the WCC, and then, despite being under the kosh from know-nowt Leeds fans, delivered another title
Likes to use the academy (IIRC about 11 of our 2004 Grand Final winning team came through the ranks) but will use decent older players if they fit in with his plans
Forget his World Cup with England, they were going to fail whoever was in charge. And I'm sure he'd leave that post if he was offered a job like Wigan.
So if Smith was appointed, what would you think of that?'"
Tony Smith at Wigan would be outstanding.

Why Cullen?
What has he ever achieved?
Am sure the pubs in king St would love him though.

| Personally I think TS would be a backward step.
People have very short memories.
Cast your minds back to before BN arrived.
The problem here is not with the coach, it's with the chairman and 2 players imo.

I ask the question i ask to Brett, do you think the coach is utilising the squad to its maximum potential?
How long does BN get a honeymoon period for in your eyes?

I never did.
Noble has always been a 1 dimensional coach. Smith has evolved adapted and learned.

No, I dont and his honeymoon period is clearly over. That being said, now we have a squad with options in it, Noble has to try and use them to get us out of this mess and should be given the chance too. We will disgaree on this point, but HE IS NOT A BAD COACH and if he can pick the right team we will do fine. But the pressure is building on him.
Do you think IL is blameless?

Why would you not want him?'"
We had him mate, and his "school teacher" method of coaching worked well for a year at saints, but then he lost his way, also losing the confidence of the players. One masterstroke he came up with was trying to swap Tommy Martyn for a division 1 stand off!

I have no idea. Its not something i can comment on as i do not know the facts.
What i can see is the onfield performance, good players do not become bad players when they sign for Wigan for no reason. I agree we should have brought in a Prop, but with 4 Fekas do you think we would have won today or last week?
There is a blatant fundemental error in the tactics of our team there has been for 2 years.
IFL could be the worst chairman in the world and only give the coach NL1 players, but if the coach does not cater his game plan to the players he has at his disposal he has to be held accountable.

Not at all. I think you need to ask yourself some questions though.
1. Do you think Nobby would start the season so short of props if it was HIS choice?
2. Do you think Nobby has his first choice number 6? TS is a 7 not a 6. (and a homesick one at that).
Surely with the release of TB, MH and MC there was enough money to give BN a free hand with regards to player purchase?
Imo IL has NOT done this.
IL is the problem here, not BN.
