I was in the North stand not far from the Stretford end and the Saints support was poor compared to the Leeds support. The second tier of the Stretford End wasn't half full and there was many Leeds supporters in the Saints end too.

Don't forget, though, that a lot of the Leeds support around the sides of the ground was not from Leeds fans. I saw a hell of a lot of other clubs' supporting Leeds from where I was sitting (behind the sticks, Saints end). About three quarters of Old Trafford were cheering on the Whinos, which is always encouraging as a Saints fan, obviously, but not all of them were Whinos fans. |

Saints did not leave empty handed on Saturday .
Leon Pryce won Back to Back Hide and seek championship .
Saints fans broke the sneaking out world record .
I believe the team also broke the record for most consecutive GF losses .
Daftest hairstyle ever to appear at a GF.
Most overrated/underachieving/ team this season .
Nailed on that they will win the 'shiniest boots' trophy next season.. They got feck all else to polish from this term .

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
