To be honest at this moment in time Welsby would make the subs bench.
Thats not taking the p*ss just what I think the way you lot are playing and the way we are.

I also think Wigan are in for a good shout to win the lot this year,as for St Helens it will be a big ask to turn the season round but you never know.

I know,If we dont then so be it,but I am enjoying this season.
I said the same last year and we won the CC,I believe in this team and on their day it will be hard to bet against them.
I also think that St Helens are not as good as they once where and Warrington could well blow up at some point.
Other fans especially Saints ones keep telling us how good they are but I believe we are as good if not better than them this year and any other team.
I am very confident we will have a great season even if Wigan dont win anything its all about supporting and enjoying the moment.

I think we can allow Saints to claim an injury crisis now. That team tonight is battered and will go some to get the win.

Wire haven’t wanted this battles in middle this past two weeks. All side to side tonight and while they’re missing a few props, they have more first choice players available than Saints tonight and we’re on a par with Wigan last week. Some pretty worrying signs if they want to win things.

Lees was superb and Lomax ran the show. We only used 15 players too.

Big performance from Delaney at 19 too. What a future that lad has. Has that bit of aggression in his game too.

From a Warrington point of view they’ve played the two big boys and come up short both times.

We softened them up for you, same as we did to you for HKR

Delaney was excellent. He has a good burst of speed off the mark and makes ground on every carry. Lees needs to find that form more often. He stood up when Walmsley was missing last season and again tonight, so he can make ground with the ball but seems to leave it to others when Walmsley and Paasi are in the side.

As for Wire, it’s been a sobering 2 weeks. I look back to that Catalans game and maybe people should’ve seen it coming. They played a vastly weakened Catalans team that day, including a number of French juniors and were fortunate to get the 2 points. The reaction at the end of that game felt OTT for what realistically was a poor performance.
