If Coley had have been in our pack on Friday night we'd have faired better imo. I'm not saying his presence would have ensured a different result but we'd have been far stronger.
Eamon O'Carroll has been a miss imo aswell.

So what are you saying about Micky Mac? Hes a fairy? You seriously dont have a clue do you?

| I'd personally be very harsh on Stu If I were in Lenegan's position. Stu clearly doesn't justify his salary for me so needs to take a pay cut otherwise he's gone. Secondly I hope the rumors of a 1 year deal on the table are true that way it keeps him on his toes and fighting for another new deal in a years time.
It's now been two big games in a row to Saints and now Wire where Stu our supposed leader in the pack has been overpowered. Now don't get wrong I know Stuart was up against it in both matches but the fact that he doesn't give back as good as he get's annoys the heck out of me. The Stuart Fielden of 2005/06 would have given Morley just as much back if not more last Friday.
I honestly believe that were they're a viable British replacement for Stu available we'd have made a move. But the fact there isn't and rumors that suggest were only offering him a 1 year deal suggest to me that were having to waiting another year until we can replace Stu with a better option.

| Fielden was the best prop on the park in the Saints game. He was going well on Friday until he got the shoulder in the face.

Brian people largely aren't interested in facts. It's turning into some sort of urban legend now, Harrison put a huge one on one hit on Fielden and sent him packing........... forget that's not what happened, it's what a few want to believe so there's no point reasoning over it.

Totally disagree about the Saints game, he was all fired up and was our only player to actually make a break through the Saints defense... just as he was getting better and better, MM took him off

| Even if Fielden was playing in his best (2004/5/6) form. He still would have been up against it on Friday. He had to do it all against a very good and big wire pack. He copped an injury early on aswell which didnt help. But when one player consistanley has 3 or 4 defenders flying out of the line at him trying to dislodge the ball there gunna find it hard. Coley and Eamon would have shared the word load and took the pressure of Stu. I have confidence Stu can get it back together a have a good finish to the year. He and Coley should both get new deals.
Cant wait to face that big Wire pack again next year with, Mossop, Lima, Macilorum, Fielden, Coley, Hock, Tomkins, O'Loughlin, Hansen, Hoffman etc all in the side

| Quote: Fames "Couldn't agree more - it may be payback time in 2011 for Morley and Carvell etc when they are facing those 5 forwards together with Micky Mac, Hanson, O'Loughlin, Joel, Mossop and Prescott/Tommy.
Can't wait to see our 6 pack plus 4 subs batter the Wire pack into submission!!
We won't need to throw any high shots/late challenges like Warrington were doing - just be hard and mean (but fair!) Remember Andy Platt et al? I could say Kelvin Skerrett, but he was a bit "Morleyesque"!'"
ive read enough and going no further.
is it just me or what/.....6 pack plus 4 subs??
imo..the reason we lost on friday was because we had no back sub......or 2nd rower who could play centre..ie Bailey....when Amos got injured wire targetted him and scored straight away...but we had no option but to stick him on the wing why he recovered.
that, i sam afraid, is down to MMs selection..........so lets blame him instead of Fielden/

| Quote: Father Ted "I said on another thread that our four first team props this time next year will probably be Fielden, Coley, Lima & Hock. A formidable line up!
First choice 2nd rowers Hoffman, Tomkins, Mossop & Hansen. Really big men!
Lockers at loose.
That at the moment looks like the best pack in the league.
BTW it's only my opinion but if that pack had played Wire last Friday Wigan would have won with some to spare.
We've only 12 months to wait to find out anyway!
Last Friday the Wire pack was bigger and more experienced than the Wigan forwards. They got stuck in and knocked us around the park.
The Wire pack won that match!
Fielden is a very good prop, he must stay for next year and hopefully the year after.'"
Tough call.

I think all those are pretty much even really which leaves it to the backs to score the points
Not sure what the contract situation is with Warrington and Saints so ill just guess:
Wellens
Gardner
Gidley
Lomax??
Foster?
Pryce
Eastmond
Roberts
Goulding
Gleeson
Carmont
Richards
Tomkins
Finch
Hodgson
Hicks
Atkins
King
Riley
Briers
Myler
again pretty even, although i think Saints is the weaker of the 3 but still not bad, next year there will be some fantastic games you can guarantee that
