Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

I go on holiday next friday and I aint one bit as exited as I am about the new season I am getting butterflies about Wane getting stuck into the players never mind Maguire!
I would rather see a team play with passion than skill TBH but we will have both!!!! 
Its a good time to be a Wigan fan after 2 boring years. |

What i can remember.
Dave Whelan (no joke) said Noble was great for wigan what he did when he first took over he should always be respected for it.
He said he was a brian noble fan but the time was right for a change
He also said this wigan side reminded him of leeds a few seasons back..making semis but just couldnt get over the line. they made the change by bring Smith in and it brought in that bit extra they needed. He believes this appointment could bring that bit extra to wigan to get them over the line.
Not 100% is exact wording but that was his points |
