| Quote Bovrick="Bovrick"Goulding/Pryce are scrapping for the no.4 shirt. That would be the end of both of them.'"
Turner hands down over Goulding, Pryce needs a big year next year prior to even being considered for a starting shirt. Lets not forget for 2011 we will also have a shed load of cap space to play with and so should comfortably be able to retain a utility player in the squad comfortably.

Looks like Paul Johnson will be coming back according to this video interview with him-
www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/a ... Page1.html
He says he wants to go back to Wigan which unless he is doing would see a strange thing to say.
If he wasn't injured for the vast majority of each season i'd have him back in a second but he looks shot to bits.
Strange move although i presume a cheaper replacment for Bailey.

| When Noble goes he may take Fielden to his new club with him, again.
That would free up a shed load of cap money for 2010.
If Fielden went along with Bailey and Coley the new coach could buy half a team never mind two props and a 2nd row/prop.

Wishful thinking i'd say!
Even Nobby isn't that daft.

No chance I'm afraid.
And I don't think we're ever going to see shed loads of cap money being available, with improved contracts for our younger players.
Quite rightly, I might add, although it means we are unlikely to see the big names coming from overseas.
But that's what reducing the salary each year does for you!

Even with an imporved contract for Sam and maybe 1 or 2 others we should have a shed load of room to play with next year-
Defo going/gone-
Hock
Smith
Probably going-
Bailey
Coley
possibly going-
Phelps
Carmont
Goulding
Riddell(although i very much doubt that one)
We should have more then enough room for a high profile halfback and prop and then enough money for another forward if needs be.

| Quote Cruncher="Cruncher"Which you read religiously and constantly feel unnerved enough by to comment on.
'"
Unnerved? So because I comment it means I am unerved? I was pointing out the hypocrisy in some random wigan fans post.
Why would I be unnerved by a team whos recent acquisitions have been...
A huge lump of a centre with no heart.
A fat useless hooker.
A bi polar half back with a liking for the ale
A prop deemed not good enough for relagated Salford
A centre no one had ever heard of
A utility back no one had ever heard of
A winger who was half decent in 2003
A centre who was allowed to leave his other club because he was a bad influence (and there are fans on here who have been in his company and know what he is capable of).
So tell, me what exactly do I have to be unnerved about?

Hey up...........Wire have won a few games and can now look down on the rest of superleague as the super power of the game
Any advice on how we could progress our club so we match Wires current status?

You tell me. You have 22 posts to date, and 18 of them are on the Wigan forum.
Get a life and stop cacking yourself.

Nah.
I think it just adds weight to the rumour they'll sign him and loan him back to Salford for 12 months.

It's an unexpected development, I think. Some Wire fans are still talking about losing Monaghan though, which may still leave the Myler ball in their court.
