| Cas deserved it but good teams grind out results when they're not playing well.
It's a final, and anything can happen, but if we turn up and perform to our ability we'll win as, when on form we're better in all facets of the game.
If we win, it'll have been some run. Beating Bradford, Wire, Saints and Leeds would be incredible.

If it had been Cas, there might just have been a possibility of us doing a 1998 style switch-off.
There won't be with Leeds.
But as others have said, we'll need kid gloves around McGuire because he's polished those acting skills of his up to a fine art.

| Some of the comments on here smack of bittnerness, and i can't understand why as it's not llike leeds have anything over you.
Mcguire was taken high, like it or not, it was a penalty.
Leeds had more chances to score throughout the game, than cas. Only an outstanding individual long distance try from chase did it. Leeds had 2 disallowed, one which was 50/50 and had numerous other chances which a combination of great scrambling defence from cas and poor leeds composure saw them not score.
Leeds played below par and cas played as well as they could, but on the day the teams were even.
So all this cas were unlucky/robbed/better team on the day doesn't really wash.

Yeah, imagine if wigan had won that game like that out there today. It'd have been a prime example of how the 'untouchables' of wigan grind out incredible results without even playing well.

| I said to the missus with 15 to go that if Cas keep their discipline they'll win the game, they didn't - McGoldrick gave away 2 penalties and they force a pass that went forward and Leeds score from the next set.

Cas were the better team for longer periods of the game than Leeds were. Didn't think either team were particularly good though and if Leeds play like that in the final they will lose by 30+

That's my view of the game tbh. Cas worked their socks off and played out of their skins, its a shame all their hard work and determination wasn't rewarded with a victory, but I wouldn't say they were robbed.

| Cas were their own worst enemies in the last 15 minutes, a few players with a couple of brain cells between them and they'd be on their way to Wembley.

Agreed, and it was entirely predictable that they'd bottle it.
Cas lost that as much as Leeds won it by inviting so much pressure in the closing stages with tiring bodies giving away reckless penalties.

| Couldnt help but feel that Cas were hanging on by their fingernails, even at 8-2 up. Rangi should have knocked that drop goal over easy though, his team mates couldnt have set it up better.

| Cas had their chance when Chase fluffed a DG from in front of the sticks.
Leeds took the chance they were given.
Not a classic of high quality rugby, but thrilling none the less. Some excellent defence from Cas, and the man with the x-factor in Chase. However, they just couldnt close the game out.
Bring on Leeds. If we are going to win the Cup, then beating Bradford, Warrington, Saints and Leeds is the way to do it.
Cant wait.

| Chase should have run the ball instead of dropping it he would have sucked at least 3-4 players in to him. Then Dixon on Orr would have had a much easier drop goal as most of the players would have excpected Chase to be the person taking the drop goal attempt.
FOR example Pat Richards drop goal V Bulls in the play offs when we made the comeback. Barrett forced 3-4 players in and left Richards with an easy attempt. Chase was getting closed down quickly maybe he should have hit it but the setting up was poor.
