Agreed. Would also love to see him properly set up for a charge a couple of metres from the line. I think it only happened once last night.

| Quote Red Hot Jalapeno="Red Hot Jalapeno"He really has gone poor. Not only has he lost his go forward but his ball security is awful. Many teams are targeting the ball when tackling him as they know hes likely to be holding it loosely.I recall him making 1/2 half decent carrys against Saints which for your so called pack leader is far from good enough. As for Coley i thought he did ok last night.'"
I also thought Coley did OK last night. His defence during his first spell was terrific.
This could be my imagination but after Fielden's first knock-on, did the hooker prefer to use him as dummy runner? We often do this with him and Feka because they're the obvious first receivers. But more than once, Fielden looked annoyed the ball hadn't come to him.

He does do that, he acts a lot on the field, he acts hard waving his fist and when someone calls his bluff he cacks in his pants eg Mason and Crabtree.
He acts like he is angry and aggressive but its all a front, he needs a break from rugby, I would seriously send him on loan to a NL1 side for a month, if he has got any pride it will provide an almighty kick up the backside and hopefully we would get the old Fielden back.

| for me loaning him to a NL1 side could be a good option. for one we could recoup some of his wages for CC purposes which may allow us to bring in another player....and having fielden play for barrow, leigh, featherstone etc. might be the motivation he needs to refind his form. Lets be honest he is playing like a national league prop at the moment so he might as well get there!!!
In addition I think you could get a fair chunk of his extortionate salary back from a NL club more than say a SL club. For them even in his dire form he would be a marque signing who would bring 500 or so on top of their normal gates just to see him. A NL club could also look at getting sponsership to bring him in.
He would either return as more of the player we used to see motivated and back to his former self, or would slip into obscurety and could be then just further farmed out to whoever would have him til his contract expired. Either way we cant lose....he either comes back a better player or we get a better player in his place.
Get him touted to every NL club IMO

to be honest id even look at doing that as an option. If push came to shove, id even offer fax the option to preseve the status quo in relation to their relevent wages if that was a deal clincher and they couldnt afford him. at least we'd be getting SOMETHING back for his vastly extortionate wages. He is a passenger in this team the same as vaeleki, moran, wilkes and james were!!!

| You have to realise that you can't simply force him to go on loan even if that's what the Club wants to do.
It would have to be something Stuart wanted to do. I agree that he looks to have lost passion for the game, and there are obviously issues whether personal or professional. I can only hope that the club are doing whatever they can to get him whatever help he needs, as clearly he's going to be around until the end of his contract.

| Waste of space and time. He gives us no go forward and made 2 errors at crucial stages of the match. When he came on we lost our go forward and Saints got us on the back foot.
Waste of space, waste of cap space.
