Match commentary could be a bit boring though. It's Tomkins, passes to Tomkins, out the back door to Tomkins, grubber picked up by Tomkins and Tomkins rounds the Saints defence to score under the sticks.

Absolutely fantastic news - put a smile on many a Wigan fan's face and made the weekend so much more enjoyable!
If we didn't know it already, the "Good Times" are certainly back and here to stay for at least 5 years - and hopefully longer!

Good news for Wigan and English RL in general. Despite all the furore over the Tomkins brothers I think that your key signing is Liam Farrell. He really impressed me last year and I'm expecting him to be a real star for years to come.

He said he inherited a club that was paying top whack to about 4 or 5 players with the young local lads below all on a pittance in comparison. Over his time here top whack players (I guess) like Barrett, Calderwood, Paleaaesina, Mathers have all gone and I guess Fielden's pay is reduced in his last contract. So the pay is now more evenly spread and we are now benefitting from it big style.
