It's shaping up to be a cracker on Friday. I'm not confident about the game but hope i'm wrong and we get another crack at those tools from Headingley next week.'"

| What a difference between a similar thread that ran on Hull's board last week. I love coming to Wigan, great fans and great atmosphere. I think we both know this game could go either way, we'll be massive underdogs and a win would be fantastic, but we'll just have to see what the night brings. If we play like last week and control Sam Tomkins we're in with a chance.

| There is always a duller who comes on to try and put a dampner on things aint there yeah we did beat Hull fair and square and by more than 4 points. If Wigan do beat us then will be rooting for them for rest of the challenge to be fair they deserve to be the Grand Final winners, they have played some fantastic rugby this season and have said that all the way along, Rovers have got further this year than last so were improving year on year not like the Dullers. Lets just hope its a cracker and that the rovers faithful stay behind to applaud our great team for a great season not like the black and whites and leave the stadium empty.. Good luck to both sides tomorrow night...

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| Coming into this game we have lost 4 out of the last 6 home games is there a reason for this? not sure but it does seem odd
I know bilko posted on his twitter yesterday that in the 10 meetings between both sides 7 have been won away should we look anything into this? no not at all fact of the matter is we have beat them twice this season and i dont see a reason for us doing it a third time
There recent form hasn't been anything to shout home about they went to crusaders and got turned over and they had something to play for we had bradford with nothing to play for so not really looking into that game much
The thing whats been worring me all season is we have periods in games where we got to sleep and take the foot off the gas and in this day and age you cant do it we did against leeds and it cost us,we did it against hull kr a few weeks ago but managed to pull away in the last 15, take a look at the hull fc game we didn't do that and we smashed them everywhere so why we not doing it week in week out?
Not taking anything away from hull kr they are a good side but we are in a diffrent class imo and we have got some positives going into it we have a 100% record against them in the playoffs, we have a 100% record against them this season and we have not lost 2 game on the bounce this season (not 100% on that but dont think we have)

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I think you've every right to be confident, we've been in and out all year, although we have gained more consistency as the season's gone on.
You're recent home form is just a blip, possibly a case of the players almost putting the cue back in the rack after you'd more or less secured the Minor Premier.

We didn't, seventh was secured and we couldn't catch whoever was going to finish sixth.

I wouldn't go so far as to say you're in a different class, although there can be no doubt you're the best team in the competition this season.
I feel the last part of your paragraph is a good way to why you're rightly favourites for this one. It's got a game too far written all over it for us.
I hope we can live the inevitable fire storm you'll throw at us in the first twenty, otherwise i fear you may well run away with it.
Looking forward to it. We usually nip in The Orwell for a couple of scoops and then walk along the canal to the ground. When we were at yours in February, the canal was frozen. Felt like proper Rugby League.

| Really looking forward to coming over.
Slightly confident but you didn't win the league by fluke, you fully deserved it so I know it's going to be a big ask but I'm hoping my luck continues at your place...3 visits, 3 wins
And Pemps, see your FB

4486_1428087820.png Newsnight 13th May 2010: "With the role of Deputy Prime Minister a non-job. Has Nick Clegg gone from King Maker to tea maker????"
I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew

Let's not get drawn into a silly slanging match on here, the Wigan fans are in a different league, able to discuss the upcoming game without any silliness, so let's not spoil the thread please.
