re: the beer incident. What did the Saints players expect to happen celebrating in the way they did in front of the Wigan fans. Celebrate with your teammates and your own fans by all means, but to celebrate like that is goading at the end of the day and they should've expected a reaction. The poster earlier who said that all clubs has an idiot element is fully justified and unless spectators are subject to some sort of psychological testing and only the ones who can be trusted are let in the ground, then players need to show some respect to fans.

ps the n00b(s) who held on to the flag before the game just make themselves look like idiots and end up ruining the effect the flag is supposed to create. If any of them had done the same with the massive flag that goes round the Kop, there'd be murder
