You don’t have to be an expert coach to expect the team to turn up and play with enthusiasm and desire.

The team lacked direction all game, a couple of times players were arguing between themselves. Seriously I reckon we would do a better job than Lam, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, I gave him time, I made excuses but no more, he’s out of his depth and needs to go.

To be fair just watched his post match interview.

For me it’s time we said “Thanks but no thanks” no Lammy. Everything about us is utterly appalling, attack, defence, communication. I know we’ve had injuries but we should be doing better and I can’t help but feel another coach would get a lot more from the team.

IL needs to put his hand into his pocket and invest heavily in this team also. New props, new loose, new hooker, new half (or halves if GW goes). I don’t have faith that Lam can select the right players and get the team playing as we all hoped we would.

Clearly you never watched Wakefield in 2006, we were a decent team who shouldn’t have been where we were. If you must invoke Wakefield team and god only knows why then the 2015 team was by far the worst we have put out in SL. Even then there have been numerous team in SL that were far worse than either of the teams you mention and this Wigan team may well be one.

It was as bad an audition as you could get in that first 40 minutes for sure and even with one of the worst packs in the league currently, we should still be able to raise some enthusiasm somewhere on the pitch. I like Lam and I hope things work out for him here but the players didn’t play like a group who are trying to get the temporary man in charge the job on a full time basis tonight.

4 games in 13 days. That game 5 days after a game in torrential conditions. 3 wins in a row, job done.

London came with a plan, slow it down and they all knew what they were at. We didn't have a plan at all, particularly in the first half.

Our second try summed up the standard of the game. Lockers knocks on to give away the scrum, their player knocks on straight from the scrum to gift us a try. Just dire.

For me tonight had the 2 worst teams in the comp on show. Appalling standard of play with zero individuality from any player. Coaches in general are killing the game complimented by incompetent management of the game & lack of talent in a very limited pool of players who are ambivalent to the state of the game.
I'm quite amazed that 9k people actually took the time to watch that dross.

Some kind of penance, maybe, for sins in a past life? That was painful. The gifted try probably swung the game; I think London would have fancied their chances of getting the points until then.
