It was poor because Wigan won, and their team was not there...Simples..
Hull may have dropped it a lot.. We did not...

| We handled the dreadful conditions better than they did. Wane got the tactics exactly right, and our players controlled the ball and the game better. A good old-fashioned game of RL.

I guess you missed JWarriors comment. Ask your carer to read out the whole thread next time.
It was a poor game and would still have been poor if Hull would have managed to win somehow. The best team on the day by a long way won.

so trolling aside do you think saints would of done any better in them conditions? when sam tomkins and josh charnley look like they are in slow motion you know the grass is heavy.

Thats one way to look at it I guess but tbh with all the ball you had you should have put more on the board. Hull tackled well but I dont think Wigan showed a great deal in attack and given you had a full complement of players out there today would be a worry for the playoffs. At the end of the day a wins a win.

I'm not trolling, and Josh Charnley didnt look like he was in slow motion when he ran down Hull's fullback. Do I think Saints would have done better? Who knows , obviously I'd like to think so. The game as a spectacle was pretty poor is the point I and many others including Wiganers are making.
As I mentioned before for Wigan fans a wins a win

I think Hull's defence deserves a lot of credit, much as it did in the semi-final v Wire. It was never going to be a high scoring game in those conditions.

and he looked like he was really struggling to get to top speed. it was a game where the better kicking game and ball control won, not who could offload and get a quick play of the ball. when was the last time it rained for a challenge cup final? what wigan did to hull today is what we have been doing to you for the past few season over than the odd game.

| Worst final in living memory. Nothing short of a disgrace to our game unfortunately.

It wasn't poor because Wigan won, I wanted you to win... it was just plain poor, one of the worst finals I've seen.

It's a fair point. I think a Wire v Wigan final would have been a far better game to watch mind you. I'm not going to deny I wanted a Hull win but I would have settled for a good exciting game.
I wonder if anything will be done about these new balls? I've heard plenty complaints from players and coaches

I've seen plenty games in the rain better than that including a few Grand Finals .... I suspect that the new balls havent helped
