Couldn't see that from my vantage point in the East Stand, but where was I actually whinging? I was saying it was a smart thing to do (prior to you pointing out the blood part)

The extremely large bandage round his head with blood weeping out of it should have given you a clue.

| lol, who'd have thought winning a game could make people so tetchy.
As for Briers, I think he committed at least 2 professional fouls and the way he tried to disrupt the Wigan pack from forming a scrum in the dying seconds was pretty low even for him.

: 60m interception pass WAS; and
: running in to join the (last) scrum to make Silverwood take him out to be replaced by Wigan player (thus burning up a few more seconds) WAS
He's lile Marmite..............

FFS I was saying how I thought it was good play. I'm not slagging him off, I'm giving the guy credit. It's an experienced thing to do to slow down the game when you're forwards need a rest. Just like putting himself in the scrum was as well. I didn't see any blood at the time so wasn't aware it was a genuine injury but if it wasn't then I'm actually praising him.

| I was more Annoyed at the way the South stand cheered that he was injured OK so it seems he was fine in the end but that's not the point you don't cheer a player being injured.

Can't stand the bloke (Marmite like you say), but that was bordering on genius - very, very smart.

That was the funiest thing , for one brief millionth of a second I thought that Lee's head injury had got to him and was trying to pack down. Then I realised it was classic Lee Briers

| Never known a rugby player fake injury like he does. Disgrace to the game. Go and get a round ball!

I didn't particularly like that either, although had it happened at the other end of the pitch to a certain Wigan player I think the exact same would have happened.
Briers at his best really. Noticed after the penalty for a ball steal briers ran about 40 metres to have a go at the silverwood and I think it was Sam who tried to get in his way tickled me a bit.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

They want the team to try; if they fail they fail, but they expect honesty. They know when players don't put it in."
