he were already committed, what you want the guy to do, stop mid slide, it's not the matrix ffs, if it had been the other way round and it was Sam sliding, there would no problem whatsoever.

If that was brought in the every other try would be an 8 point try happens all the time and Turner was already committed to trying to stop the ball being grounded.
Well played last night thought we would get hammered tbh but you were there for the taking, and although it pains me to say it what a player Sam Tomkins is!

Got to disagree. From one angle it looks as if Manu is going to kick out at Sam, but you see clearly from most angles that he pulls out completely and due to momentum whilst sliding his knees go into Sam's arm only. Nothing wrong at all imo. |

I had a couple of looks at it and I was ok with it. The shoulder took a knock when Yeaman banjo'd him with a good strong hit. Nothing wrong with either challenge for me.

I agree with this Brian. He pulled out and didn't make contact.

Looking at the Sam Tomkins thread on the VT and also the Hull board, its frightening how little some people know about the sport. Saying the first try should be chalked off for a double movement is pathetic and is either a really bad case of sour grapes or a complete lack of understanding of the rules.
