Myler is playing behind a beaten pack every week. Not easy to look good under those circumstances. I still think Myler will have an England shirt this autumn. He looked good against the French when he was behind a pack that destroyed the opposition, although his current form is apparently poor.

Saints paid Wire far more than that for Sculthorpe some time in the last century and he proved a superb buy for them.
There again, it would have been far better if Wire could have produced a half back of their own who's better than Myler and worth far more, just as Wigan have done!

also at the time gleeson was playing for wire and i truly doupt now hes at wigan he will play for england(yet would'nt suprise me if mathers played) also if myler signs thats 4 and eastmond and sam tomkins deserved it 10 times more then him! but the fact he played was probs to convince him to go to wire

Hell of a lot of money considering in the summer he will only have 1 year left on his contract. I was expecting us to pay around £200k.

An out and out scrum half is what we have been crying out for but only time will tell if he proves to be worth it.

Ah! I get it now! Tony Smith wasn't the coach of the England squad it was an imposter. That's why England were so firkin awful!
That's also why Richard Lewis said after the NZ defeat in the semi that Tony Smith was an outstanding coach. Lewis new it was an imposter too!
