I went in on HKR yesterday even without knowing about Paasi and Sironen. If Saints get a win at HKR minus those guys you’ll deserve all the praise you get.

Noticed Hull KR are missing a few forwards due to bans. So evens it up slightly, I’m sure the Saints kids are up there with the best in country.

I am yes. Its not specifically the number of injuries as I'm aware that all teams are carrying injuries. It's more to do with the quality and the fact they are all forwards. If it was a 50/50 split between backs and forwards or if it was more squad players rather than first team starters then I'd give us more of a chance.

HKR away is a difficult game even with a full team so I think we will fall short on Friday.

From nunmbers 9- 20, HKR are only missing one.

I wouldn't write us off, there will still be a lot of very good players in the red vee on Friday and we could absolutely win the game.

Up against it of course, but certainly in with a chance.

Feels like you’ll need to go away from the grind and open up a bit to get the win. The backline is pretty much at full strength by the looks of it, so it’s no way a write off but if Saints try and play the usual Saints way, you could get burned. The HKR pack is playing very well.

Agree the bookies aren’t usual far off they see it as an even game. I’d put KR 4 point faves.

Would have been an interesting TV watch that game.

Saints to win by two scores at least. Remember this is a Humberside team, play well for a game or two then have a few stinkers. It's been this way since the 80's.

Well what do I know?

Just had a browse of Red Vee and jeez, talk about OTT reactions. You’d think their season was over! Wellens getting pelters and just the odd one very correctly pointing out that their pack was decimated tonight and HKR are flying. There really are some special breeds on there. You would think 4 titles on the trot, a WCC win down under and a bad injury list might just cut their players and coach some slack but they’re having none of it (90% of them anyway).

Who do you go for?

Wire currently 21 points difference better off, a Saints win (and we have Wakey at home) could potentially send us top of the League.

A Wire win would put Saints down in 8th-9th (depending on how Leigh do on Sunday at Wakey), putting tremendous pressure on Wellens.

It's tough wanting Saints to win, but either result gives us something to smile about.

We can’t really lose, let’s just hope they bash each other up. If we have a shot to go top, then great but if not, it’ll mean another defeat for Saints and it’ll be another fixture tagged on to the catch up wins they’ll need as the season wears on.

Next week will be damage limitation. I fully understand most teams have injuries but we’ve simply got too many in the same area of the field

Last night Roby went off injured and Wingfield failed his HIA. So add those two to the above.

Lees was also sent to the sin bin for an alleged high shot so potentially add him to the above too.

It’ll be a long night you’d imagine if all those are missing. I’m not sure on Wires situation and if they get anybody back, such as Harrison or Bullock. If they do and they have some bench options in the forwards, it could get messy.

Now is the time for Saints fans to pay the team back for the last few years though. I’m staggered at some of the comments I’m reading in various places. Those players have pushed themselves to breaking point and given people memories that last forever and you’d think every single Saints fan would now rally behind them. It’s the least they deserve.
