He sounds like trouble, and at a time when we're bringing youngsters into the team, that's the last thing we want. We need mentors at the moment, not bad examples. We've just lost one of those for two years. Why immediately replace him with another.

The 'no visa even for misdemeanour offences' thing seems to be concentrating SL clubs' minds. I could be wrong, but I feel sure our interest in Carl Webb dwindled rapidly once it became clear that he had some sort of minor conviction.

fact is they would probably go great guns behind a decent pack, would rather we signed 2 big rough house props and a decent 2nd rower than a half back & prop.

Well thats the thing isn't it, if we got a pack that was big, strong, tough and mobile they'd not need a world class half and could cope with Sam and Leuluai at 6 and 7 without doubt imo.

If the only quality of halfback available is somebody like Daniel Holdsworth from the bulldogs or Chrish Thorman we literally may aswell not bother.

We need a halfback of the quality of somebody like Orford or Lockyer or at the other end of the scale somebody like Myler. If he's not up to that standard then please Mr Lenagan leave well alone.

He'd be a more realistic option of playing at fullback then people saying Minichello should be signed.

He's a good winger Tuquiri but also a very good fullback.

He'll go back to the NRL though dependant on what he's done.

Nobles kind of winger, but then again Noble wont be here next season.

We need forwards starting with props and more than one. It's no use re-signing Sam if we have a pack that can hardly win a game.
We need a winning pack and IL needs to start signing props.
If we don't watch it IL will sign Lote and put him in the 2nd row to replace Bailey.
He must have a thing about not signing props!
