| Quote: Pieman "no, nor do I think that of any player. Do you think that of any player?'"
Hansen's contribution is replaceable, in his absence we cam be just as strong as we have players who can do what he can do. However there are several players which offer something more unique to the team.
For example.
Pat Richards-best winger at the club. His conversations can win a game. This has been proven.
Sam Tomkins-offers so much strike in attack, make so many meters and is SL deadly, we have no one like him in the team.
Was H missed? No. Cos others can do what he can do, he's a solid yet average SL player. Many many better SRs in SL.
I have nothing against H. But I do have something against the attitude and behaviour of several posters. Hence the whole purpose of this thread.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| To quote Deano G "We should leave the worrying to the opposition and concentrate on delivering the potential of the best squad in SL" Thats so true in sport, nothing worse that seeing one player is not availiable, just to see another one step up to take his place of similar ability. THAT'S why HH is important, not as an individual, but as a member of a squad.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

did we lose games when Richards was out due to goal kicking? Did we win games without sam? Your argument isnt valid.

| The arguement is only valid if you know the results IF HH had played. But we don't.

Hansen is replaceable. And wasn't missed we did lose games due to kicking (Richards) and Sam clearly offers something which others dont.
Out of interest where in Wigan do you come from and how old are you?

Nope. The results and performance over a number of games reflect if the player was missed.
It's very black and white. Did we miss him? No. How can I say that? Cos we haven't lost in his absence.

| I'd like to take this opportunity to thank 'Last Son of Wigan' for cheering me up when I'm in work. Absolutely cracking thread that has to be a contender for thread of the year. Brilliant.

I'll just carry on. Anyone with even half a brain can see there are many posters on here who are inbreds. Love to pick and do what they can to have a pop at someone's opinion.
Sad thing is many in here don't even get it. They think I'm having some massive pop at Hansen when in truth I'm pointing out a clear fact about the teams performances in his absence.
I only even bothered after the I took for it when mentioning it.
It's a pity our club is followed by so many retards. It's why other clubs and places in the UK think Wigan is full of yocals.

Why is the thread stupid?? I thought the idea of a forum was for people to discuss matters and give their opinions?? there was a thread recently about wether hansen would be missed, Last son of Wigan got slaughtered for having the opinion that he would not be missed as we have other SR forwards that could step up and do a good job in his absence.
Now several weeks later having won every game since he has been out, Last Son of Wigan is now asking the question has he been missed??? The answer is no, he has not. I am a fan of Hansen myself and do believe he has a part in the squad but given our form over the last few weeks he simply has not been missed.
