tragic news, didn't know about it till i went to watch the match i'd sky +. i live in wakefield and it has sent shockwaves through the rugby community. the club really deserves a change in luck. thoughts to family friends and team mates of the young lad.

Sometimes we get carried away and forget that RL is only a game... something like this puts it in perspective and we should appreciate the work all players, no matter who they are, put in for our entertainment.
It's also good to see the RFL doing the right thing with a minutes silence before all games this weekend
RIP Leon and my condolences to his friends and family.

I have emailed the club to enquire whether a bucket collection could be organised in the ground tomorrow. I think it will depend whether there is a lottery licence in place to allow collections.
I am sure that if the club agrees then enough volunteers could be found to do the collection. |

Not had chance to come on for a while but heard about this when it happened on Sunday. Tragic news.A great gesture by the club and as many have already said RIP Leon and condolences to the Walker family, friends and all connected with Wakey and Salford.
