| I'm happy with that. A thrashing is no good for rugby league ( Saints, please note).

| It's a win by 22 points away from home.
Some of you should stop getting so bent out of shape

That'l come with time IMO, as much as its a cliche, winning is a habit. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be putting 70/80 on crusaders, but I'm just loving being top and picking up wins at places where we are expected to win. Remember Crusaders last year?

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Pryce's 4th looked about a foot short from where I was
Wigan fans were magnificent today, what a quality away end that is.

| Well I have just got back and if we tackle like that next week we will get beaten easily.
I thought we were on for a record score the way we started but after the first 15 minutes we lost the plot.
It wasn't helped by the ref who I thought was going to lose control of it toward the end. There was also a blatant punch thrown off the ball right in front of the touch judge and he did nothing.
I don't think we have picked up any injuries but we certainly have one (for a spear tackle that really wasn't) maybe two players on report.
Pryce's last try was short but then the Crusaders first try was a mile forward so that evened that out.
For positives look to Richards goal kicking which was immaculate with all bar about two from the touchline. Scored a very good try as well beating about four men in the process just at the right time.
Overall you left the ground not particularly happy despite the win because you know it wasn't a quality performance by Wigan. Too many penalties given away (even if some looked rather dubious) and really it's the penalties that gave them the opportunity to score added to some poor tackling at times (though Sam T helped with an absolute blinder very early on to stop what looked like a certain score).

| Just back....... A strange sort of game, really happy with 2 points, and I have to agree with some of the comments about ill-discipline, but some of the referee decisions, especially in the 2nd half were baffling, but as I said, our defence will need to be much better next week, or Leeds could have a field day.
The 1st 20 mins we were magic, then foot off peddle, and into cruise, and I hate that, we've already been bitten twice this season doing that, I'm sure Madge will put that right this week. Thought Pat's try was class, Sam played well, looking to be inventive everytime he had the ball, and again Pryce made progress, a better game again, and it must have been a plan to get the ball to him early on no matter what, dubious 4th try, but can't argue with his return at the moment, doing great, keep it up Karl..................... and as far as the new song about Karl Pryce, did anyone else hear it, or was singing it................. pmsl, if true it might explain the way he runs at times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I think after Pryce scored his hat trick we just switched off and thoughts went to next week, yet again the only reason we conceded trys was penalty after penalty something we need to sort out because we cant afford to do that against teams like Leeds, worryingly again though most of their trys went down Gouldings wing, when Amos is back Goulding will lose his place IMO.

I agree I think Pryce will keep his place when Roberts returns as he's doing the business in attack. I think it's a tad harsh to pin the blame on Goulding for the tries being down that side though. The first one he should have stayed on his man but it's also the nature of our tackling style that with two or three men in the tackle there's space to exploit.
Gleeson and Leuluai both cost us tries with some shocking defending. We seem a bit slower when the defence is sliding to the right, and there tends to be players jumping out the line more and slipping off tackles which is worrying.
Maguire will have to work on it for next week.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Don't know about Karl, but I thought it was hilarious. (Couldn't quite believe it was actually being sung TBH).
