Let's be honest, if you were him, wouldn't you snatch their hands off?
A few years ago, Brian would have secured an Aussie job fairly comfortably, but, after three less than glamorous years at Wigan, he must have thought he'd blown it big style. I certainly did.

Kids left home, sunny climate, working in a game I love, none of the pressures of the head coaches position...
I'd snatch their bloody arm off

I bet you don't go many games do you? You sound like that typical Saints fan that gets aggressive to the other teams. Much like a football fan does. You are exactly the kind of fan that endangers the brilliant reputation that RL fans, bar Hull/Hull KR fans, have.
Butt out, shut up and go home.

| If Noble is out of contract this season and IL wants to review things at the end of the season. Then hes taking Noble for a mug.
At work you get an offer from another firm guranteed 2-3 years of work. Your present employer tells you oh by the way Brian i might give you a new contract then again it depends on your performance over the next few months.
Seriously what are you going to do. Sit and hope or get something else lined up. Noble is no mug.

| I aint a Noblr lover nor hater. I know I'll get slated for this but I personally think he hasn't done too bad since he took over. Saying we have gone backwards is very wrong imo. In the darkened days of Millward, I certainly remember two matches against Stains and Leeds with a total score of 145-0 not in Wigans favour. Surely that couldn't be worse. And I am sure that when Milward was in charge being 80 mins away from the GF would have been seen as a massive succes.
What is evident currently is that we do not have anyone who can keep a cool head and marsahal a game like Faz used to and certainly Trent did in his first season. The basic skills such as ball carrying is almost non-existant. Is this the coaches fault or the players? Another debate.
One final thought about consistancy what about the other SL teams? With the exception of Leeds and Stains how does everyone else match up?

| Not sure whether this would be good, but a coaching clear out is needed.

| Stick to your own board!! Smith the best 6, doubtful.
Quote: St pete "LMAO
Last week you was all saying Wigan should offer him a new contract!
Also smith was greatest stand off in super league. Great in attack and sorted his defence out.
Now you lose it's all changed AGAIN!
I know every team has idiots who change the mind every time they win or lose but you lot are unreal!!!'"

| It's on the SMH site that the Roosters are to give Fittler more time.
They say Noble is not on their radar.
I'm sure someone will provide a link.

This is what also worries me, many people on here beg for Shaun Edwards - but would we just suddenly turn on him should he not improve things?
Who's saying he would improve things? After all, I'm not naive enough to think Shaun Edwards hasn't had any RL experience - far from it but flip the coin has he had any real RL coaching experience? Simple answer, No.
That's not to say he wouldn't be a success - he could take over and win us back to back GF/CC's, but appointing a relatively un-experienced RL coach is a high risk.
IF Noble were to leave, Wigan would need an experienced and proven RL coach to take over.
I feel for BN because its obvious he has put in alot of time and effort into stabilising the club and changing things for the better - most of which aren't known to us fan's. I think Noble has laid some superb foundations for the building of something special at Wigan - it's just a question of if he will ever get the chance to see his hard-work and determination pay dividends.

| One defeat and Noble has suddenly taken us backwards? ( i think that comments a bit extreme 2 b honest)
My overall opinion is that I can see Nobby going only because he has a burning ambition to coach in the NRL>
We were beaten quite unfortunately in my view last Friday and have been in a good run of form till that point. Wether or not we have turned a corner and getting better only time will tell, .
I can't think of many teams in the league that are on a consistent run of form at the moment?

| I don't know the INS and outs of what's going on with noble and wigan.
IMO if wigan was sure noble was the man to take you forward then they would just offer him a new deal.
And if noble wants to stay as he says he does then he will sign.
So what's the problem?
