Why? Bosc is an International was close to being in the dream team last year. Goalkicker, doesn't count on the quota which is a big point. Like I've already said, I'd prefer to sign a SO and put Sam at SH if we're going to put Leuluai at hooker.

He plays a different position every week. I feel for the lad because one week he plays 80 minutes at SH, the next he plays 40 minutes at SH then 40 at Hooker, the next he might play 60 minutes at SH, 20 minutes at Hooker, etc. Noble needs to make his mind up.

When TL goes to 9 he can be as good as Piggy although sometimes Riddell can put out some great passes which TL doen't seem to do.
Just think that the outs will be -
Smith, Phelps, Coley, Bailey & TL.
Ins two props and a half back all of real quality.

So I am pressuming you will have only seen Bosc play the same amount of times as the person who rated Dobson play and yet you have ridiculed someone for making their judgement of a player based on that and yet you have come to the same conclusion of Thomas Bosc based on the amount of games you have seen him. What is the difference?



Name another French halfback. Wayne Kerr of London Skolars in an international. Our international game has little credibility.



Dobson is a goal kicker as well. Bosc is a good player and one I rate however he has been very quiet this season compared to last and I think Dobson offers more than Bosc.

And to think some people want to play Martin Gleeson at stand off!

The more frightening statistic will be how many different people we have had playing at fullback/winger/centre and the different halfback combinations we have had this season.

Next season and for the rest of this year it should be

6. Sam Tomkins
7. Thomas Leuluai (for the rest of this year at least)

Let us try and create some stability amongst the squad and hopefully this should see us more coherent in attack.

I agree this backline could really gel and become a regular starting line up even for next season.

Bang on there mate, consistency for the rest of the season and I think we will see vast improvement (especially when we finish the season strong )

Also agree with everything you said about Dobson, he would be ideal to play alongside Sam for years to come. If we could get him that would be our backs sorted for a good while (barring Carmont)

As for Tommy moving to 9, I think this is undoubtedly his best position and I think he can be one of the most dangerous players in the league when he replaces Riddell. McIlorum should go on loan for a season and if he proves himself more worthy of a spot than Riddell or Tommy then keep him on but if not he should go especially when we have Sam Gee and Logan Tomkins also coming through the ranks. It may be harsh but what needs to be done must be done

We would just need to get 2 props (unless Fielden pulls his finger out, which if we get someone like Petero I think he could well do) Mainly we need a leader, someone who makes the oppositions smalls brown and the 2 main candidates for this have to be Luke Bailey and Petero Civonaceva. The second one for me would have to be a workhorse type prop who makes solid metres, Andy Lynch or LMS should be the targets (LMS preferably) This would give us a very good pack of forwards that would provide solid go forward for the full 80 minutes and lay that all important platform
