As much as we don't like to admit it - Saints are us and Leeds are the Yorkshire version of us i.e established clubs with a proud tradition of winning the league and producing some of the games best players.

For a club that supposedly hates Wigan, you're all fawning over (yet another) player that we've produced. Half your team are Wigan lads, but maybe that's what it takes for the 'mighty Wire' to win the league. |

Wire have the best half back combo (Williams/Widdop) and front row (Hill/Clark/Cooper) in the league imo, amongst a host of other good players.
With saints not being as good as the last few years and Wigan obviously nowhere it could be their year!
They’ve already handled Catalan twice

I would suggest that the biggest thing tickling our fancies and I admit that I can't speak for everyone is not because the lad's from Wigan like one or two others and not that he's chosen us over you for whatever reason but that we are a club that is showing ambition.
Sure we may fall short and how plenty would laugh I get that and IF that happens the wait continues BUT we are trying and if only that was spread throughout the league and I accept there are limiting factors but that would really float my boat a SPORT on the up |

We’ve shown plenty of ambition the past few years with signings like Bateman, burgess, french and Hastings. It’s gotten us nowhere though tbh. |

Hey it wasn't an accusation or anti Wigan post and looking back to when every top name ended up at Central Park my view was always a hope that one day we would be able to attract or even retain top talent.
A strong even (ish) competition levelled up not down filled with decent academy products and a sprinkling of overseas stars would be great to watch. |
