I dont think warrington will sign him. Ive been calling for us to sign Moi Moi for about two years now and i dont think it will happen. I would be suprised if we ever see him super league. Im sure there are numerous clubs in the NRL that would sign him if he leaves the Eels

if im honest i have barely seen the NRL this year what with setanta going bust, but i saw him score some cracking tries last season. thats all it was. Looked impressive everytime i saw him. But look at Dobson, cant make it over there but arguably the best half back in the league over here. Grothe in an inferior league would probably shine as there would be no reason for him to lose confidence. The NRL is brutal, and easy to fall out of favour if you lose a bit of form. I would take a punt on him

Some people are taking his Ainsbough v Roberts thing a little too far. Roberts has flaws in his game, but so does Ainscough. I don't think Ainscough was treated particularly well the way he was just dropped out of all contention, but I doubt he'd have done anything that Roberts hasn't been able to do.

I like the idea of filling the team and club with Wiganers, but some advocates of this system are starting to sound xenophobic.

i hope your right, and no where in my post did i criticise him. I just stated that i prefered another player who isn't wanted by his club based on what ive seen of him.

Moi Moi just scored a fantastic try in the Grand Final, ran it like a second rowers and somehow grounded it.

Moi Moi would be ideal for us. Would bring the best out of Feka so we would have the go forward we need.

Fielden, Prescott, MoiMoi and Feka would be great, the balance between attack and defence would be good too. Use Coley for cover between prop and 2nd row. Then we have a big strong pack with good depth.

Whats strange is, IL came back from Aus and said no signings because there was no value / players weren't right for Wigan, yet we moved for Long, surely there couldnt be a player "less right"?

We enquired about Long and what his terms would be. On hearing them, we decided not to bother. And Long wasn't best pleased.

So after IL has done his research into due dilligence he tries to sign Gleeson and Long. One successfully and one not!

I would love for the club (in 12 months time) to put a cheeky bid in for Briscoe. He's publily stated on many occasions that he love the chance to play for his hometown club again at some point!
In 12 months time he will have a year left on his contract and Hull KR will be fretting of the possibility of him leaving on a freebie at the end of 2011.
I'm sure they would gladly accept a 100K transfer (ala Gleeson)...!
