The way out attack and defence have been performing this year it might be a similar scoreline!!

This got me thinking, when was the last time Wigan and Hull were pitched together in a semi final?
Struggling to think of a time!'"
There was a JPS semi final in the late 80s, we won by one point (seem to remember it was at Headingley, but I might be wrong).

The good news is that she wasn't a local. Bloody out-of-towners coming and sh*tting near our shops.

Not sure how many errors its possible to get in a post, but if this is referring to the last time Wigan and Hull played in the Semi Final of a knock out competition was the John Player Trophy semi final of the 1986/7 season, which Wigan won 12-11. To be fair, it was played at headlingley.

You came on telling us how your mate spent 3 months trying to get through on the phone and there queues larger than the ones at Calais at your club shop whilst he made 1 call to Wigan and got through.
FWIW I suspect Wigan may sell 4/5 thousand and Hull possibly double that if not more.
I would guess if the game had been held "Mid point" (Huddersfield/Leeds for example) then Hull would still probably take more.
Believe it or not I like it when the Hull clubs do well (Apart from some of the "Baggage" that comes with it) as it is proper Rugby League place.'"
Hull to Huddersfield is 74 miles. Wigan to Huddersfield is 42 miles. This is the first time I have ever known us be closer to a semi final ground in my 40 years of following the club

Distance isn't the issue really, it's the fact that it's on a Friday night which will put many off.
It is what it is now though and hopefully we'll be able to muster a decent following because I'm pretty sure you guys will have at least 7,000 or 8,000 there.

Leeds then? See you've conveniently missed the point I was trying to make and also that I acknowledged that even mid point I would expect Hull to take more & fair play tou you guys for that.
PS
Hull - Leeds 60ish
Wigan - Leeds 57
Still would expect a larger Hull following but I bet it would have been a Bigger overall crowd?

Probably gone for Doncaster over Leeds or Huddersfield being a lot smaller, so will look better 75% full rather than Huddersfield half full. It's a nice neat little ground. I reckon there will be around 12000 there with 8000 from Hull. Can't understand why the games aren't Saturday and Sunday
