Tomorrow is another Grand Final for St Helens, not some rebirth of a great club. Its terrific for Wigan to finally be back, that is obvious but dont try and proclaim that the entire game hates you and its the birth of an era of Wigan domination. It isnt. Its a 5th Grand Final in a row for Saints and its about time we win another. For Wigan its a welcome back. Its Sam Tomkins' first final and I expect he'll a hell of a lot more and hopefully against St Helens.

What tomorrow should herald is the welcoming of Wigan back to the top table and I do believe that certainly over next year and probably years following a serious and genuine rivalry between the 2 clubs. No more 75 - 0 for a while I dont think. Both clubs have dominated the sport over a large number of years and I suspect we will do for a good few more.

at the next level down Wigan have beaten you for the last three years which would suggest that Wigan have the better junior players coming through.

Do you really believe that what happens at youth level is a real indicator of senior level ? It isnt.

At Senior level Wigan are in a far better position than Saints and you know it!

You have been in the last three academy finals (and lost them all) plus one U18 which you won.
Wigan have contested every academy final (at both levels) for the last three years.

It takes time for these kids to come through. (As I showed with Leeds)
The problem is that Saints will be relying on the likes of Wheeler and Foster, whereas Wigan have Tomkins, Farrell, Marsh, Charnley etc

Just look at the scores in this years U20's games if you think that you have the talent to match Wigan.
