The draw for the fifth round of Carnegie Challenge Cup will take place on Tuesday 7th April at RAF Leeming in North Yorkshire with the balls for the draw being flown into the base by a Hawk aircraft.
It will go ahead at 2.30pm and special package on the event will be broadcast on the BBC’s regional news programme later that evening
One has to ask why its not done live on TV anymore?????

It'll be "filed" electronically to news outlets by the press association. Thats about as exciting as watching BBC Parliament that! They are really killing the cup the RFL with moves like this. The draw should have been done after the 2 games yesterday.

we may as well get it over with, cos the longer we stay in it, the odds on playing em go shorter.
we wont win the CC so lets get knocked out now and concentrate on climbing the table.
the last thing i want is an easy passage to wembley and play stains and be on the wrong end of an embarrassing scoreline.

A good NL1 away trip please. Gateshead away for mine would be good for that area and give them some income as their crowds barely go above 500 normally. Rochdale could do with a shot in the arm as well.

I would really like it to be you, home or away. Realistically, how many would come to Rochdale and how many would you get at home? Our capacity is a tad under 10,000.

Probably 1,500 if it was at Rochdale or maybe a 10k crowd at home. |
