Paul Cooke is no fan of Hull FC and believe me the feeling is mutual, but even he can put his animosity to a side when it comes to this.

It just shows he dislikes Wigan RLFC more than he does Hull FC. Nothing more.

Bullying tactics, as you call them, is what rugby league is all about. The successful teams from all over the world are the ones who manage to bully the opposition

Saints have won many a trophy, far more than you, in the SL era and they did it with class, i don't recall them ever being accused of this.

Look at the types of offences Hull were penalised for on Sunday, compared to Wigan's. Ours were almost all technical, Hull's were almost all foul play.

No they weren't, just the ones you choose to remember, but that's not really the issue is it, we're talking about Wigan's play in general, not just one game.

If you actually think that saints achieved their success by going on the field and being nice and friendly to the opposition then you really are living on fantasy island. Names that spring to mind Fairleigh, Fozzard, Pitt, Nickle, Matutia, even going back to Ward. All players who were agressive and bullied the opposition.
Now if you are saying you dont want hull to play that way then get used to not winning anything.

Would you care to elaborate on that one, and explain how the hell late tackles, high tackles and punching can be deemed 'technical offences'?

I'm not saying we weren't guilty of that most teams are, but we were done for quite a few technical offenses too.

Nothing wrong with big men grinding down the opposition with big hits and winning the collision, what you are being accused of is the more sinister wrestle in the tackle, bending peoples limbs into dangerous positions, putting pressure on your opponents joints etc., a tactic which is employed by your full team, not necessarily the "hard" men.

Yet i believe it was John Sharp who worked with the referees pre season, after outclassed coaches had been whinging, to show them what defending players are trying to do and what type of tackle would be dangerous and illegal. So the referees no what to look for in an illegal tackle, and they very rarely penalise us for doing anything dangerous in the tackle
