No we wouldn't be coming on the Castleford site at all. We would have expected a win and would look idiots for gloating about beating a team like Castleford that we were expected to beat. It's like Leeds fans gloating about beating Celtic Crusaders.
On the other hand Castleford beating Wigan is a big shock to your systems, a result you never expected. So that's why you come running on here creaming over your sides result.
Just because Wigan have lost three games this season does not make them infamous. Our fame is still there but our dominance isn't. It seems fans are getting mixed up with the two. I think many opposition fans would like to think that Wigan aren't famous anymore rather than actually believe it.
Oh and finally a tip for your fans. You travelled in great numbers but when your team score, why don't you chant in support of your team rather than just shout abuse and taunt the opposition supporters/players? I've never understood why fans do this. Castleford fans in particular. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Exactly this is why I do not understand all the bitter Castleford fans, we broke the rules and had the points taken away which is the sufficient punishment. We deserved to stay up that season, I would rather have a second half of the season like we did then than another average season just finishing as an average play-off team, it was much more exciting that season. |
